ABOUT US
The team at Davies Fencing a construction have one thing in mind – to give you a great product and experience.
Our team are awesome.
There's Shaun and Jimmy who do the quoting and project managing.
There's our team of FCNZ qualified fencers who are reliable, work hard and enjoy banter and Friday drinks in the shed.
There's Rochelle in the office who not only keeps everything ticking but is like Aunty to our guys and makes sure they have high health and safety standards, get paid, have their uniforms and she checks in with their mental health regularly.
And there's Buddy our dog who lives with his head out of Shaun's ute, attending most site visits and team meetings, lending the occasional face lick.
What’s different about Davies Fencing and Construction is that we have a great team culture. We love our team. And they tell us they love us too (but with more bloke type words.) We reckon this fun, caring, respectful culture that our team works in makes them happy at work. So they do a good job and are proud of what they produce. And this good energy directly transfers to your project and to you. Lucky you! It means things go smoothly.

History
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Shaun began fencing at 14yrs on his uncle’s farm in Taupo. He comes from a long line of fencers – it’s in his blood. While he pursued a 20 year fishing career, he would do fencing works in his off season. Until one day an accident on the boat near Great Barrier Island caused him to leave the sea and finally begin his dream of building a large, successful fencing business. And this he has certainly done. He doesn’t do business as usual, has defied the odds, and done it on his terms. When you have a vision (and a supportive wife) anything is possible. His happy team and his happy customers are a testimony to this.
